The Mayaro Government Primary School is situated in the southeast part of this tropical island. Realizing that their is an urgent need for the total development of the child and the importance of granting vivacious experiences along with equipping him/her with the necessary tools to meet the technological challenges of the 21st century, we have embarked and a ground breaking initiative called “Sandwatch”. It is about helping children realize that they have the power to make a difference in their community and the wider world. Sandwatch grants them this opportunity and it is the training ground for our future environmentalists and scientists.
